The Chargecard

Our chargecard account facility is designed to enable customers to make purchases at the Chandlery without the need for cheques or cash, as well as providing them with an element of credit.  Additionally, people ordering goods for delivery can put the purchases on their account and pay on a monthly basis. 

 

Statements and interest

At the beginning of every month, account holders are sent a statement outlining all the purchases from the previous month and any outstanding balance.  Purchases paid for within 30 days of the last day of the month in which they were made are not charged interest, 2% interest is charged on all overdue amounts thereafter.

Account payments

Accounts can be paid off directly at one of our tills, by post or at the bank.  Additionally, we also offer direct debit facility, allowing customers to have their outstanding balance automatically debited from their Standard Chartered Bank Account at the end of every month.  Click here to download a direct debit form (Please note: Completed forms must be returned to Standard Chartered Bank, Ross Road, Stanley)
